Medical practitioners
The ACT Public Sector Medical Practitioners Enterprise Agreement 2021-2022 details the terms and conditions for medical practitioners employed by the ACT Public Service, including the ACT Health and Canberra Health Service.
Visiting medical officers are not covered by the agreement. Further information is on the Canberra Health Services website.
The current ACT Public Sector Medical Practitioners Enterprise Agreement was approved by the Fair Work Commission on 11 January 2022. It commenced on 18 January 2022 and has a nominal expiry date of 31 October 2022.
Nursing and midwifery
The ACT Public Sector Nursing and Midwifery Enterprise Agreement 2020-2022 covers all registered nurses and midwives, enrolled nurses and assistants in nursing employed in the ACT Public Service.
The current agreement was approved by the Fair Work Commission on 17 January 2022. It commenced on 24 January 2022 and has a nominal expiry date of 31 December 2022.
Health professionals
The ACT Public Sector Health Professionals Enterprise Agreement 2021-2022 covers:
- dentists
- medical imaging professionals
- medical physics professionals
- perfusionists
- pharmacists
- radiation therapists
- and other allied health professionals.
The agreement was approved by the Fair Work Commission on 4 February 2022. It commenced on 11 February 2022 and has a nominal expiry date of 31 October 2022.
Support Services Agreement
The ACT Public Sector Support Services Enterprise Agreement 2021-2022 covers:
- allied health assistants
- clinical coders
- dental assistants
- disability support officers
- health service officers
- youth workers.
The agreement was approved by the Fair Work Commission on 13 December 2021. It commenced operations from 20 December 2021 with a nominal expiry date of 31 October 2022.
Administrative and related classifications
The Administrative and Related Classifications Enterprise Agreement 2023-2026 covers:
- administrative service officers and senior officers
- administrative cadets
- clerical staff from Capital Linen Service
- dental receptionists
- graduates and trainees
- research officers.
The agreement was approved by the Fair Work Commission on 13 September 2023. The agreement commenced 20 September 2023 and has a nominal expiry date of 31 March 2026.
