PatCH holds General and Specialist Clinics daily. At the clinic you will be seen by one of our Canberra Paediatricians or paediatric surgeons, or specialists from one of the Childrens Hospital in Sydney.

To attend a clinic you'll need a referral, so please see the referral information below.

Clinic staffing

The Outpatient area conducts 15 Paediatric Medical and Surgical outpatient clinics on a regular basis.

As we are a teaching and training hospital all of our clinics are attended by Registrars in training and/or medical students from the University of Sydney, University of New South Wales or our own Australian National University Medical School.

Eight of these are attended by visiting consultants from both Sydney Childrens Hospital (SCH) & the Childrens Hospital at Westmead (CHW).

Outpatients also provide nursing services for children who require follow up care after surgical and / or Emergency Department treatment.
