Child health checks are offered through Community Health child health clinics and home visits by Maternal & Child Health nurses.
Child health checks are recommended at key developmental ages as specified in the childs Personal Health Record (PHR Blue Book). These checks promote optimum growth, development and well-being of your child and family.
The checks provide an opportunity for you to gain information, support, advice and education relevant to caring for your child.

These Maternal and Child Health (MACH) clinics are great opportunities for you to gain important information, support, advice and education relevant to caring for your child. No appointment is needed for these brief 15-20 minute consultations at these locations. Pre-booked longer appointments are also available.

No appointment is required for these brief 15-20 minute consultations at the locations listed below. These sessions are available if you have concerns about yourself or your baby.
Appointment
Pre-booked appointments with a Maternal and Child Health (MACH) Nurse are also available. Clients can access this service by phoning Community Health Intake on (02) 6207 9977 between 8am and 5pm weekdays.
