Provides information, referral, support and counselling to carers. Services include Commonwealth Carer Resource Centre and Commonwealth Carer Respite Centre. Association also has a lobbying function. Carers are people who provide care and support for a parent, relative, friend or child who has a disability, mental or chronic illness or who is frail aged.

We also offer an education program called "Well Ways" to mental health carers in NSW and in the ACT. Carer Assist is a service of the Schizophrenia Fellowship of NSW Inc.
