Tap Into Water Everyday

About 60% of the adult human body is made up of water. In infants and children this percentage is even greater.

The water in our bodies is essential for life. It is involved in every bodily function including digestion, circulation, control of body temperature, and the excretion of waste products. Without water we cannot survive.

The water in our bodies is continually being used or lost from the body. Some of it is used or absorbed by the functions it performs and some of it is lost through sweat, urine and faeces. It is estimated that the normal turnover of water in an adult body is 4% of body weight and in infants it is a huge 15% of body weight. Because the water in our bodies is continually being used or lost, it needs to be continually replaced, and generally speaking, the best fluid to replace it with is water.
