Canberra Hospital is the region’s major public hospital, providing specialist and acute care to more than 500,000 people.
A comprehensive range of services is also delivered from the Canberra Hospital campus, including acute inpatient and day services, outpatient services, women's and children's services, paediatrics and pathology services.
Our visiting hours are from 6am to 9pm daily.

Free patient and visitor WiFi
As part of the ongoing consolidation of our wireless networks (WiFi) and the expansion of our wireless networks to Calvary, the ACT Public Health Internet network that was provided for patients and visitors to access the internet has been renamed to HEALTHfree . The only change to this network at ACT Health facilities is the change in name, all other elements remain unchanged.
