Can't contact your GP?

If your condition requires immediate treatment and you can't contact your GP, you should come to the Emergency Department. If your condition does not require immediate treatment, its best to see a GP.

Your GP cannot admit you directly to the hospital without one of the hospital specialists accepting your care. In many cases, extra treatment may need to be given, or tests performed before you to go to a ward.
