Our justice health service provides a range of medical, dental and mental health care programs and services to people in custody, including youth detention.

We also support people with mental health concerns who may be at risk of engaging in serious criminal offending, and people who’ve been arrested and/or charged with drug or alcohol related offences.

Comprehensive primary and mental health care services to detainees in custody.

Provides community equivalent mental health services to detainees in custody.

Assessment, knowledge and skills to general mental health services about the relationship between mental illness and the risk of criminal offending.

Provides a link between community mental health services and the ACT Law Courts.

Diverts people arrested and/or charged with drug or alcohol related offences out of the judicial system into the health system.
