Older Persons Mental Health Service
Provides specialist mental health assessment and treatment services to people aged 65 and over who reside in the ACT and have a mental health problem. Support and assistance is also given to their carers and families. The service is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team of specialists.

Aged Day Care provides programs and respite care for people with dementia at four centres - Belconnen, Tuggeranong.
Alzheimer’s Australia ACT
Alzheimer’s Australia ACT is a support and information service for people with dementia, carers, family members and others affected by a diagnosis of dementia. Alzheimer’s Australia ACT provides education and training for health professionals as well as information sessions for the public, counselling services and support groups for carers and people living with dementia.

Queanbeyan and District Dementia Respite Program
Co-ordinates regular and ongoing respite care for carers of people with dementia residing in Queanbeyan, Yass, Gunning, Crookwell and the Tallaganda and Yarrowlumla Shires. Visits homes to carry out assessments. Fees apply.
