Walk-in Centre

Walk-in logo iconACT Health Walk-in Centres provide free and efficient access to treatment and health advice for one-off, minor injuries and illness. No appointment is needed.

Our Walk-in Centres are located in Belconnen, Gungahlin and Tuggeranong.

A fourth Walk-in Centre will be opening in Weston Creek at the end of 2019.

We are open 7 days a week, including Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Opening hours are between 7.30am and 10pm.

Come to a Walk-in Centre for treatment of:

  • common illnesses, like cold and flu
  • cuts and bruises
  • minor infections and wounds
  • strains and sprains
  • skin conditions and rashes

All Walk-in Centres are led by a team of highly skilled advanced practice nurses and nurse practitioners with extensive experience in treating people with minor injuries and illnesses. There are no doctors at our centres.

If you have complex or serious health conditions or children under 2 years, please visit your GP for advice.
