Dr. Adham obtained his general Obstetrics and Gynaecology training in Auckland, New Zealand, where he worked at Middlemore Hospital, the largest women's health hospital in the Southern Hemisphere. There, he gained extensive experience in the management of high-risk pregnancies as well as complex gynaecological conditions.
In 2008, Omar moved to Sydney, where, at the renowned St. Vincent's Hospital, he completed his fellowship in advanced laparoscopic surgery and urogynaecology (treatment of bladder incontinence and prolapse).
Leading physician and surgeon - Canberra Endometriosis Centre
Since 2010, Dr Adham has been the leading physician and surgeon for the Canberra Endometriosis Centre at Canberra Hospital. Dr Adham offers patients the full range of treatments, as available, tailoring options to each individual. If they don't suit, he works to find alternatives.
Omar identifies healthy lifestyle measures, improving mental wellbeing and a multidisciplinary combined approach to treatment, not just prescribing medication or surgery.
Dr Adham works in both public hospital practice and private practice.
In 2010 Omar established his Canberra ob-gyn private practice, Complete Women's Health.
At his private clinic, Complete Women's Health (at Women's Health on Strickland), he offers services in Gynaecology and Obstetrics.
