How do I make a referral to a paediatric clinic?

All children must have a current referral from their General Practitioner (GP) or a specialist to attend these clinics, with the referral specifying the name of the doctor to whom they are being referred.

Referrals are triaged according to urgency and the next available appointment will be offered.  A GP referral is valid for 12 months and a Specialist referral is valid for three months.  A new referral must be obtained for a new condition, even if a current referral is in place for an existing condition.

GPs can forward referrals electronically via Concerto or by fax to (02) 6244 4535.
