| Admissions To Inpatient Services Admission to an approved inpatient unit can only occur based on a medical officers decision taken in consultation with members of the clinical team. Admission to inpatient units may be voluntary or involuntary. Where an involuntary admission occurs consumers are required to remain at the approved inpatient unit, for a period determined by the treating team.
