Allied Health Graduate Program
The Allied Health Graduate Program aims to:
- Build the capability of new graduate staff for effective inter-professional collaboration by learning with, from and about fellow health professionals in ACT Health.
- Complement discipline specific training and provide additional opportunities for learning within an inter-professional forum.
- Provide an opportunity for new graduates to make links with other allied health graduates starting their career at a similar time and receive additional support during the transition to a qualified health practitioner.
About the program:
The program is available for all newly qualified allied health graduates working for ACT Health or Calvary Health Care ACT.
The program comprises of 6 x 2 hourly modules run each fortnight. The program has a March and September commencement to accommodate new staff starting throughout the year.
Ideally new graduates would start at the beginning of a program, however this can be negotiated.
Please see the program flyer for general information regarding the modules, dates, venue and how to enroll.
If you would like further information regarding the Allied Health Graduate Program please contact the program co-ordinator Ned Jelbart at Ned.Jelbart@act.gov.au or by phone (02) 6205 3058.

This is a separate program that includes fellow graduates from medicine and nursing and midwifery. The Inter-professional Graduate Program provides an opportunity for inter-professional discussion and networking between new graduates from the three main clinical workforces across ACT Health.
The Program includes 3x 90 minute sessions each year. Dates, time and venue are provided to all participants attending the Allied Health Graduate Program.
