At the time of passing the legislation, the ACT Government made a commitment to review the operation of the Act, in particular the relationship between the National Boards and the health complaints entity.

It was agreed that this review would occur as soon as practicable after 1 July 2011 and that following this, a report of the review would be provided to the ACT Legislative Assembly.
