ACT Nurse Practitioner Review: 2017
ACT Health is conducting a strategic review of the governance arrangements for nurse practitioners working in the ACT.
The review will focus on future service planning requirements, the governance infrastructure and the evolving scopes of practice for nurse practitioners working in health in the ACT enabling the provision of safe, high quality services that are accessible, acceptable, affordable and sustainable for the community.
Your opinions on the following issues are welcomed:
- The governance arrangements for enhancing the safety and quality of nurse practitioner services for health care consumers within the ACT community
- The scopes of practice for nurse practitioners that will aid determination of strategic planning and succession needs for service sustainability
An online survey has been developed for health care consumers, employers and nurse practitioners in the public and private sectors as part of the consultation opportunities for the review.
The survey closed 14 April 2017.
