Note: Clinical placements are allocated based on graduate preference, placement availability and organisational requirements.

The ACT Health Enrolled Nurse Transition to Practice Program recognises that everyone wants something different in their graduate year and for their career. We offer flexibility and choices with rotations to most clinical areas. These areas may include:

Division of Surgery and Oral Health

• Orthopaedics

• Gastrointestinal

• Urology and Vascular

• Neurological

• Cardiothoracic, Plastics, Ears, Nose and Throat

Division of Medicine

• Cardiology, Endocrinology and Respiratory

• Stroke Unit & Infectious Diseases

• Renal

Division of Women, Youth and Children

• Paediatrics at the Canberra Hospital - Paediatrics and Adolescents

Division of Capital Region Cancer Services

• Oncology Ward

Division of Mental Health, Justice Health and Alcohol and Drug

• Adult Mental Health Unit

• Alcohol and Drug Services

Rehabilitation, Aged and Community Care

• Acute Care for the Elderly

• Acute Rehabilitation

Division of Critical Care and Imaging

• Medical Assessment and Planning Unit

• Acute Surgical Unit
