Pandemic H1N1 Influenza Vaccine (Panvax®)

A new vaccine to protect people from H1N1 Influenza '09 or Swine Flu has been tested and registered by the Therapeutic Goods Administration.

H1N1 Influenza '09 is a new strain of flu that spreads easily from person to person. Experience from other countries shows that this is not just a winter flu it can also occur in spring and summer. Some people who have caught this flu have had serious or fatal health complications.

Vaccination is the most effective way for the community to protect themselves against this flu. Vaccination offers protection and also helps to stop further spread of the virus.
