Our business areas

Academic Unit of General Practice connects policy and general practice with research and education to improve primary care.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships provides support, advocacy, and advice to make Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health a key consideration across the ACT public health system.
Canberra Regional Medical Education Council provides strategic advice to the ACT on postgraduate medical education and training.
Centre for Health and Medical Research provides strategic work that is informed by the Better together: A strategic plan for research in the ACT’s health system.
Clinical Placement Office coordinates all clinical placements for students and trainees.
Office of the Chief Psychiatrist monitors and improves mental health care for the ACT through investigations, reports and compliance.
Digital Solutions Division delivers digital health, technology and protective security capabilities across the ACT public health system.
Population Health provides a range of services and programs aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of the ACT population.
Office of the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer provides strategic nursing and midwifery advice on local, national and international issues.
Pharmaceutical Services ensures the safe supply of medicines, poisons and therapeutic goods to the ACT community.
Office of Chief Allied Health Officer informs, guides and advocates for ACT allied health professionals and gives advice on issues for the allied health workforce.
Office for Mental Health and Wellbeing works to improve our community’s wellbeing and mental health service system through co-design with consumers, carers, clinicians and the community.
