The Survey Resource Group provides guidance and ensures consistency in the development and implementation of surveys and questionnaires at Canberra Hospital, with reference to the hospital's existing policies.
The group meets monthly and reports to the General Manager.

Surveys and questionnaires
Surveys and questionnaires involving staff and/or patients at Canberra Hospital require endorsement by the Survey Resource Group. All prospective surveys and questionnaires should be submitted through the Research Office for assessment by the Survey Resource Group. The assessment form used by the committee to assess the surveys can be found here to assist with survey design.

Two example surveys with their accompanying participant information sheets have been prepared to assist researchers with survey development.
Survey Number 1
This survey is short and simple and would be a project that does not require ACT Health Human Research Ethics Committee approval.
