CHARM is the premier conference for the communication and translation of health related research practice in the ACT. The conference explores challenges, opportunities and discoveries in health and medical research in the region and provides opportunity for showcasing research, networking, collaboration and capacity building for researchers and clinicians in the ACT and beyond.
CHARM is an annual event held in collaboration with ACT Health, Heart Foundation ACT, University of Canberra, University of New South Wales Canberra, and the Australian Catholic University, the Australian Institute of Sport and The Australian National University.
A certificate of attendance can be supplied upon request for attendance at this meeting.

Overview of Program
Day 1: Heart Foundation Research Day
An exciting new addition to the CHARM program featuring presentations from invited National and International experts in cardiovascular health research followed by an afternoon of abstract presentations.
Day 2: Managing Chronic Conditions – the future is now
A full day of presentations from National and International speakers focused on chronic disease management. Speakers will present research in personalised medicine, clinical trials, biomedical instrumentation and evidence based healthcare strategies for our ageing population.
Day 3: ACT Research in Focus
Starting with the 3 Minute Thesis competition, day three will showcase key health research projects from across the region, featuring local abstract presentations.
Posters will be on display throughout the week, with the poster viewing event on the evening of day two.
The meeting will be officially closed at the Awards Dinner on day three.
