Educators from your school can attend a two hour session about the Food&ME Preschool or Kindergarten – Year 6 resources. These sessions are delivered by Nutrition Australia ACT and accredited by the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI). Nutrition Magician Tour Dates: Weeks 7 and 9, Term 1, 2020

These one-hour educational performances explore healthy food and drink and the magic it has on the human body. The ‘Superkids’ show is suitable for Preschool, and Kindergarten-Year 2 students. Two representatives from your school can attend a one-day professional learning session held in Canberra. Participants will learn how to integrate growing and cooking food activities in the classroom. Schools that attend receive a two-year Kitchen Garden Program Syllabus and a set of Tools for Teachers (mapped to the Australian Curriculum and includes lesson plans). This session is accredited by the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI).
