ASSAD - Self-described drinking status, by sex


    In 2017, around three-quarters (74.3%) of secondary students surveyed described themselves as non-drinkers. Males (73.7%) were no more likely than females (75.2%) to be non-drinkers (p=0.736). More females than males identified as 'party drinkers' (p=0.05), whereas more males than females identified as 'heavy drinkers' (p<0.0001).
