ASSAD - Single occasion risky drinking, by age


    In 2017, 3.7% of secondary students surveyed reported consuming four or more drinks on at least one day in the week prior to the survey (single occasion risky drinking), placing them at risk of alcohol-related injury on the occasions in which this occurred. Students aged 16-17 years (10.4%) were significantly more likely to consume alcohol at these levels compared to students aged 12-15 years (0.5%) (p<0.0001).
