The Calvary Public Hospital is located in the ACT and is accredited by the Canberra Region Medical Education Council (CRMEC). It’s approximately 20 minutes from the Canberra Hospital.
Calvary has over 285 beds and provides a range of acute care, including inpatient, outpatient and emergency department services.
The Hospital is affiliated with the Australian National University and has a commitment to high quality education for all its trainees. Junior Medical Officers (JMOs) are allocated to CRMEC accredited terms only.
Rotations available at the hospital include cardiology, general medicine, orthopaedic surgery, emergency medicine, psychiatry, rehabilitation medicine, general surgery and obstetrics and gynaecology.
Each rotation gives you access to tutorials and education sessions, grand rounds, clinical meetings, journal clubs and extensive research opportunities.
