The City Community Health Centre is at 1 Moore Street, Canberra City and is on the corner of Moore and Alinga Streets.

The building is multi storey concrete and has a red skywalk pedestrian bridge that crosses above Alinga Street. There is a pedestrian crossing outside the building and across the road is a Post Office.

At the entrance to the health centre there is a large polished stainless-steel artwork. To enter the centre head through the glass doors.

Arriving by bus

The City Community Health Centre is a short distance from the City Bus Interchange.

Once you arrive on Moore Street:

  • The health centre entrance is on the corner of Moore and Alinga Streets near the red skywalk pedestrian bridge.
  • There is a large polished stainless-steel artwork out the front of the building.
  • To enter the centre head through the glass doors. You are on the ground floor.
  • The lifts are located towards the back of the ground floor.

Arriving by taxi

There are taxi drop off and pick up points outside the Community Health Centre along Moore Street.

Once you arrive on Moore Street:

  • There is a large polished stainless-steel artwork out the front of the building.
  • To enter the centre head through the glass doors. You are on the Ground Floor.
  • The lifts are located towards the back of the Ground Floor.

Arriving by car

The closest large parking facilities are the above ground multi-storey City West Car Park, entry on Allsop Street off Marcus Clarke Street, Canberra City, or the below ground multi-storey Secure car park, entry on Childers Street. These car parks are pay parking.

To reach the Community Health Centre from these car parks you will have a 300-metre walk which will take on average 5 minutes and requires crossing a fairly busy intersection at traffic signals.

Alternatively, there are two short stay car parks on the street outside the Centre.

Accessible parking is available on Moore Street immediately across from the Community Health Centre.

There are also multiple accessible parks on Alinga Street at the corner of Moore Street. Please ensure you display your valid parking permit. These parking spaces are regularly monitored by parking inspectors.
