Services For Children with Harmful Sexual Behaviour: Listening Report

The Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse released its Final Report on 15 December 2017.

In June 2018, the ACT Government responded to the report’s recommendation, with most of the recommendations accepted or accepted in principle.

In 2021, ACT Health Directorate commenced a Service Mapping Analysis (the Analysis) to establish a clear understanding of:

  • the current services available for children with harmful sexual behaviours and their families in the Australian Capital Territory,
  • demand for these services
  • what training and clinical supervision is available for health professionals providing these services.

Insights from the Analysis consultations have been summarised in a Listening Report.
