The postgraduate scholarship has 2 pathways for nurses employed in Mental Health, Justice Health and Drug and Alcohol Services (MHJHADS).
Pathway 1: MHJHADS and the University of Canberra Collaborative Pathway
The collaborative pathway offers paid part-time employment while completing an academic course at the University of Canberra (UC) for up to 18 months.
The course has flexible delivery options that combines face-to-face teaching sessions, tele-tutorials and video conferencing to help maximise learning experiences.
Academic course content focuses on in-patient care, community mental health and various specialist settings in MHJHADS.
Separate applications are required for employment with MHJHADS and to enrol in the academic course at the UC.

Pathway 2: Other Australian Universities
ACT Health nurses (including MHJHADS staff) are eligible to apply for a postgraduate scholarship at any Australian University.
