We provide services and programs for people who need help for alcohol and drug related behaviours and dependencies.
Alcohol and Drug Consultation and Liaison Service
Provides assessment, support and referral for people admitted to Canberra Hospital and need help with alcohol and/or other drug issues.
Counselling and Treatment Service and Youth Drug and Alcohol Program
Counselling and support for people experiencing alcohol and/or drug related issues.
IMPACT
Supports pregnant people, their partners and their young children who are clients of Mental Health ACT and/or who are receiving opioid replacement therapy.
Needle and Syringe Program
Provides sterile injecting equipment and education to injecting drug users.
Opioid Treatment Service
Provides care for people who are prescribed Opiate Replacement Therapy, medicated withdrawal and referral for other medical services.
Police and Court Drug Diversion Service
Diverts people arrested and/or charged with drug or alcohol related offences out of the judicial system into the health system.
Withdrawal Unit
Provides a secure and supportive environment for safe, medically supervised withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs.
