Allied Health Professional’s Day (#AHPsDay) is on 14 October 2021. #AHPsDay is a social movement that allows Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) to promote their professions and celebrate their skills and achievements.
In our busy lives, we don’t often stop and appreciate the work that we and others do and recognise the difference it brings to people’s lives and our community. AHPs Day is a day for AHPs to come together in celebrating, appreciating, inspiring, and connecting across the world.
One way to celebrate and appreciate our public sector AHPs is through the ACT Allied Health Excellence Awards. The ACT Chief Allied Health Office will announce the winners of the Allied Health Excellence Awards on 14 October 2021, including the Allied Health Professional of the Year.
The Chief Allied Health Officer invites you to celebrate the work that Allied Health Professionals do on Thursday 14 October and share that celebration via social media channels, Twitter, Facebook, Linked In and Instagram to join in the worldwide movement. #AHPsDay #AHPsDay2021 #strongertogether #alliedhealth
