Congratulations to Tuesday night’s winners of the 2019 Allied Health Excellence Awards!

Minister for Health and Wellbeing Meegan Fitzharris presented Donald McLean with the 2019 ACT Allied Health Professional of the Year award.

Donald, Principal Medical Physics Specialist at Canberra Health Services, was recognised for his research into safe levels of radiation exposure for patients being treated for breast cancer.

Each year, the Allied Health Excellence Awards recognise the ongoing determination of allied health professionals to provide high quality care to the Canberra community. There were 34 nominees across eight excellence award categories.
