Expanding services at Weston Creek Respiratory Assessment Clinic

The Weston Creek Respiratory Assessment Clinic (RAC) has expanded its services to provide clinical support for COVID-19 patients who do not require hospital admission.

Patients will be able to talk with a health care worker over the phone who will be able to help them get the health care they need.

Post hospital support and follow up for positive cases will also be available through this service.

The expanded service will reduce the number of patients presenting at our emergency departments or being admitted to our hospitals by providing accessible medical support early.

Infectious Diseases and General Medicine Specialists from Canberra Health Services will support our nurses and GPs to deliver the new services.
