A new hydrotherapy pool is coming to Canberra's southside

We are building a new hydrotherapy pool for Canberra’s southside, next to the Lakeside Leisure Centre in Greenway.

Hydrotherapy provides therapeutic treatment to people who have mobility issues, chronic illness or pain or require rehabilitation after surgery or injury. It also provides valuable recreational therapy for people who have limited ability or opportunity to access public pools.

Over the past three years, we have consulted with hydrotherapy pool users, members of the community, and health professionals to identify a preferred location and determine the design and critical features of the centre.

The designs have considered previous consultations with stakeholders and the wider community, with additional important features incorporated into the final design.
