Clinical Technology Workshop

Equipment Repairs and Modification

The Clinical Technology Workshop (CTW) provides services for daily living and mobility equipment. This includes:

  • servicing and repairs
  • modification and adjustments
  • custom design and manufacture of componentry or devices in collaboration with your treating therapist or the SWAPS service team
  • mobile and in-home van service for ACT residents if appropriate

Daily living and mobility equipment includes manual and power wheelchairs, accessories for use with wheelchairs, wheeled commodes, hoists and hospital beds.

CTW referrals for equipment repair can be made through the Village Creek reception directly. We accept referrals from clients, carers and other service providers. Referrals for equipment modifications or customisation must be made through your treating therapist via the Village Creek reception.

The Clinical Technology Workshop is part of the Clinical Technology Services which provide services to the ACT community and surrounding NSW region from the Village Creek campus.

If you are eligible for NDIS funding our services need to be included in your plan. All Clinical Technology Services are provided to ACT residents as ‘in-kind’ NDIS services.  All Clinical Technology Services can provide information and/or recommendations to assist in the planning process if required.

Clients not eligible for NDIS funding can access our services as a public or privately funded client. We can help you identify your eligibility for the funding of services or equipment through alternate funding sources.
