Canberra Health Services offers information, advice, referral, intake, assessment and support twenty-four hours a day.

We offer services for individuals, their family and friends, general practitioners, other health professionals, and business and community groups.

One phone call is all it takes

All outpatient referrals and initial contact with our services can be made by calling the Alcohol and Drug Service Intake line on (02) 5124 9977 or (02) 5124 1580.

For after-hours support, please call the Alcohol and other Drug Information Service (ADIS) on 1800 250 015. ADIS provides 24-hour 7 day a week telephone counselling, support, referrals and information for those affected by alcohol or other drugs.

Who can use this service?

All residents of the ACT who think they, or a family member or friend may have an alcohol or drug problem.

The Health Directorate also offers advice and information to general practitioners, other health professionals, and business and community groups.
