We are upgrading the existing Watson Health Precinct.

New facilities will be built for Ted Noffs and Marymead CatholicCare who provide alcohol and other drug rehabilitation services for young people. They also provide residential care for young people with mental health conditions. Services will continue to be delivered during the design and construction of the new facilities.

A new residential alcohol and other drug rehabilitation facility for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander persons will also be built. This facility will promote rehabilitation and recovery in a culturally safe and inclusive environment. We are working closely with Winnunga Nimmityjah on this facility and it will be built on a separate part of the Watson site.

The upgrade will be complete by the end of 2024.
